Nick Koth

Worship Director

Nick Koth moved to Springfield in 2011 to attend college. After transferring from 2 different universities, he found himself at Missouri State University in 2013. At MSU, Nick joined Chi Alpha as a student and met His wife Lauren while serving on the worship team.

After taking a season away to intern at a church, Nick returned to Chi Alpha and became a CMIT (campus minister in training) from 2016-2018. Nick then became the Young Adults pastor at Evangel Temple Church until 2021 when God called him to return to Missouri State Chi Alpha!

Nick loves joking, conversations over (great) coffee, mountain biking, the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Bulls.  He earned his Bachelors of Science from Evangel University in Church Ministries. When not on campus, you’ll find him at home with his wife Lauren, daughter Mila and two dogs.

Michael Winters

Outreach/Live Production Coordinator

Michael came to know Jesus through Chi Alpha during his time at university. He devoted three years to serving in that capacity. Following that, he traveled to Spain to assist in serving at the International Media Ministry. His next endeavor took him to New Mexico State University, where he played a vital role in initiating Chi Alpha with the intention of reaching out to international students. Michael dedicated eight years of service there before stepping aside to allow the local New Mexico staff to assume leadership.

Meanwhile, Christina, who had been discipled and had also taken on the responsibility of discipling others at the same university, continued her involvement for an additional two years after her graduation. In 2016, Michael and Christina tied the knot, and Christina subsequently joined the ranks of those serving at New Mexico State.

Presently, Christina is employed with the National Training Team for Chi Alpha in Springfield, Missouri. As for Michael, he is currently involved with Chi Alpha at Missouri State, lending his support to International Life, Loving Our Campus, and Chi Alpha Monday Nights.

Kara Berrey

Missions Director

Kara grew up in a rural community in Northwest Missouri. She came to Missouri State in 2016 to study Agriculture. Though initially uninvolved in Chi Alpha, the Lord quickly gripped her heart when she had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Kenya. This opportunity showed her more of Gods love and brought to her attention that it should be shared!

After graduation, Kara went on to do the CMIT program with Missouri State Chi Alpha and then transitioned onto staff in 2020 into her current role as Missions Director.

Kara’s favorite part of Chi Alpha is small group leading! She says, “There’s nothing like seeing a group of strangers come together, create life long friendships, and pursue the Lord together!!”

When she’s not hanging out with students she loves floral design, gardening, evening walks and playing with her new kitten Tuff!

Andrew and Kristi Lundgren

International Life Directors

Andrew and Kristi have been serving as missionaries with Chi Alpha Campus ministries since 2011. They currently serve as the International Life Directors at Missouri State University, where they love working to create a home away from home where all international students can feel the welcoming love of Jesus.

They live to see lives touched by the power of Jesus in order to send out missionaries to fulfill the Great Commission in the marketplace and throughout the world

As newlyweds, Andrew and Kristi both felt a call to missions and began serving young adults in their local church. It was there that they first learned the power of discipleship in a community of believers who live life together. It was also during this season that the Lord called them to disciple the nations on the university campus.

Before coming ot Missouri State in 2020, they served in Illinois: first at an internship in Carbondale at SIU and later with Chicago Chi Alpha as the directors at Northwestern University.

Isaiah Agcaoili

Isaiah spent his childhood living across the globe, yet he spent most of those formative years in Southern California before eventually settling in Missouri. Although he was raised with a diverse Christian background, it wasn't until late in his High School years that he developed a personal relationship with Christ.

Looking for Christian community, Isaiah discovered Chi Alpha while attending Missouri State. Engaging in mission trips and deep discipleship, he was profoundly impacted by the transformative power of Christ-like love, leading him to wholeheartedly embrace vocational ministry at Missouri State Chi Alpha.

Delighting in creativity and fostering community, Isaiah takes on the role of heading the media team and cherishes joking around with his closest friends. He strongly believes that life should not be taken too seriously (aside from following Jesus) and encourages living in the moments that God created us for.

During his free time, you can find him watching great movies, rooting for the Los Angeles Lakers, or out thrifting for old clothes.

the CMITs

Tyler Cederblom

2nd Year CMIT

Tyler Cederblom is a proud Springfield, Missouri local whose journey led him to Missouri State University, where he earned a degree in finance. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and sports all while looking for neat socks to collect. A new chapter in his life began with his marriage to his wonderful wife, Micayla.

Tyler's involvement with Chi Alpha started during his freshman year and quickly became a sense of home. The clarity of his calling emerged after graduation. Responding to God's voice, Tyler committed to a full-time internship with Chi Alpha. Currently in his second year, he finds honor in guiding young minds, fostering their growth, and establishing meaningful connections. Tyler eagerly anticipates witnessing the impact of God's work at Missouri State.

Lacey Jones

2nd Year CMIT

Lacey comes from a small town called Hardin, Missouri. After graduating high school, she moved to Springfield to attend Missouri State. She graduated in May of 2022 with a B.S. in Environmental Plant Science with minors in Forestry and Sustainability. During her time as a student and small-group leader in Chi Alpha, the Lord placed a burden in her heart to minister to others and bring the light of Jesus to the dark places of the world.

Though she’s still very passionate about agriculture and plant science, after graduation she felt the Lord calling her to give the next two years of her life to the Chi Alpha CMIT program. She now gets to spend her days loving students and pointing them to the gospel full-time.

When she’s not on campus or with students, you will find her tending to her houseplants, lifting weights, playing fetch with her dog, and spending time with her husband Dalton.
